Posting Attendance

Posting attendance is a very important task! When we record attendance, it allows us to know crucial ministry details including:

  • Who we are reaching
  • How many we are reaching
  • How frequently do “regulars” attend
  • When do we “lose” people
  • Attendance/involvement is a key to measuring spiritual growth (not a stand alone – but generally when someone is struggling, their attendance patterns change)

Therefor, posting attendance is essential to helping us measure our reach and impact as well as to helping us build community. The good news – Posting Attendance is easy to do!

Incomplete Addresses

When someone provides an incomplete address, please enter it in ACS as the address type “Incomplete”.  If you discover an address is incomplete, please change it to this address type.

Mailings should never include the incomplete address type.

It’s important that we abide by United States Postal Service standards in data entering addresses.  Please become familiar with the USPS Postal Addressing Standards.

Naming Events in Facility Scheduler

When creating an event in Facility Scheduler, it’s important to use the proper name format.  It may seem cumbersome to you, but it makes a huge impact to the user trying to find the event they’re looking for as well as helping us research old information in event reports and such.

Check-In//Posting Attendance

When someone checks in to an event (such as AWANA or Fuse) a record in the check-in process is created but it is not automatically linked to the person’s profile. Each ministry’s admin will need to Post attendance to make that record appear in the person’s profile.  Posting attendance is a quick and simple process! Download instructions to make it even easier!
